Mindfulness: The Art of Observing Thoughts
Breathe. Observe your thoughts as they arise. As they come and go. Observe. Without judgement, simply breathe and observe.
Thoughts arise in the mind like clouds in the sky and waves in the ocean. It is natural. They come and go. Simply observe them as you would waves from the shore or clouds from the earth. Through observation we find understanding and in understanding, peace.
Breathe and observe your thoughts as they come and go. There is no need to overanalyze or dwell, by observing without attachment we realize what must be realized over time and let go of what must be let go over time.
This is mindfulness. The art of observing thoughts, without succumbing nor fighting. Simply breathing and observing.
Over time we realize that there are patterns to our thoughts. And in these patterns, we gain insights into ourselves and the world around us.
Breathe, observe your thoughts, observe the mind and let it be.
